Trading Posts are locations in New World settlements that players can use to sell or buy items. The cap on the number of active buy and sell contracts is 100 per character.
Trading posts in all settlements are linked as one.
- Fees for buy and sell orders are defined by the Settlement that you’re posting them from.
- Transaction Taxes on purchases you make are defined by the Settlement in which you are making the purchase.
- Items listed in sell orders that expire are returned to the settlement storage from which they were posted.
- The maximum amount of time you can place an order to stay on the Trading Post is 14 days.[1]
