Summary[]
A Pickaxe is a Tool used in the Mining gathering skill. It must be present in the players inventory before they can collect ore from veins, or Stone from Boulders.
Crafting[]
Pickaxes can be crafted at the workshop in any settlement.
Pickaxes are first obtained in the Main quest line and called the Flint Mining Pick. Flint Mining Picks can be crafted anywhere after completing campsite questline and having the required 1 flint and 1 green wood.
The tiers are then
- Level 5, Iron Mining Pickaxe (12 Iron Ingots, 3 Timber, and 2 Coarse Leather.)
- Level 20, Steel Mining Pickaxe (13 Steel Ingots, 3 , Refined lumber, and 2 Rugged leather)
- Level 40, Starmetal Mining Pickaxe (14 Starmetal Ingots, 3 Wyrdwood Planks, 2 Layered Leather)
- Level 60, Orichalcum Mining Pickaxe (1x Golden Scarab & 250x Repair Parts (Optional), 15x Orichalcum Ingot, 3x Ironwood Planks, 2x Infused Leather)
Alignment[]
Alignments are obtainable through a pickaxe that is above a gear score of 600+ and has used the golden scarab option. They roll in 1 in 7 or 14.29 % chance of each type of mote.
Death Alignment: Chance to gain Death Motes after gathering a node.
Life Alignment: Chance to gain Life Motes after gathering a node.
Soul Alignment: Chance to gain Soul Motes after gathering a node.
Water Alignment: Chance to gain Water Motes after gathering a node.
Air Alignment: Chance to gain Air Motes after gathering a node.
Earth Alignment: Chance to gain Earth Motes after gathering a node.
Fire Alignment: Chance to gain Fire Motes after gathering a node.
