Aeternum is the island where the game takes place.
Aeternum Landmarks[]
Landmarks are locations on Aeternum where the player can explore and journey throughout their playthrough in New World. They are also referred to as POIs, or Points of Interest. Uncharted Landmarks will show as a "?" on your Map until visited. Visiting them for the first time grants XP and labels them on your Map.
Territories make up the widest locations. Within a Territory there may be several Landmarks. Settlements are a type of Landmark.
