- Beast: Animals large and small. Weak to thrust damage.
- Ancient: Living skeletons from an ancient civilization. Weak to strike, lightning, and void damage.
- Angry Earth: Nature that has taken humanoid, animal, and monstrous forms. Weak to slash and fire damage.
- Human: Weak to slash damage.[1]
Enemy Rank[]
Enemy health bars can tell you how difficult they will be to fight:

Enemies that have a health bar with no diamond underneath are non-aggressive. |

Enemies that have a health bar and a diamond showing their level are considered normal enemies. |
![]() |
Enemies that have a silver bar on either side of their level are considered more difficult than normal. Notice that there is only 1 silver bar in this example. |
![]() |
This silver enemy has 2 bars framing its level. Silver enemies may have 1 to 3 bars. More bars means more difficult. |

Elite enemies have a gold bar on either side of their level are considered more difficult than silver enemies. They will also have 1 to 3 bars. Elite zones are zones where all the normal enemies have been replaced with elite enemies. |

Named Enemies can be found in Expeditions or in the open world. Most enemies will be named things like "ancient archer" or "wolf". You will sometimes run into a named enemy with a unique name or title, such as "Keeper of the Well" or "Snapfang". They are usually important to the game's lore or quests and tend to drop better loot than the normal enemies. They are usually elite and may have special buffs or resistances, but are not as difficult as bosses. |
![]() |
Bosses will have 4 gold bars framing their level. Their health bar is also divided into 10ths. |
